My name is Bradley Evans. I am from Greensboro, Georgia, a small country town about 35 minutes out of Athens. I enjoy working out, playing sports, listening to music, and playing video games. Growing up in a small town without many things to do in our free time, I learned to take value in the simple things along with the value of friendship. I learned that the people you spend your time with is more important than the things that you do.
When deciding on a college, UGA was my last option for many reasons. I didn’t want to follow in my sister’s footsteps, it was too close to home, and it didn’t seem like the college that would help me grow into the man that I needed to be. This was all from the outside looking in. Once I made a visit, I knew that this was the place for me. I didn’t have any concrete reason as to how I knew, but when you get the feeling you just know. Now I am here as a Civil Engineering major and if I had the chance to do it all again, I wouldn’t change a thing!
